Program Overview
  • The Certified Bilingual Communication Partner program is a collaboration between Stanford GSE and the non-profit organization English Together to prepare volunteers to support Spanish-speaking low-wage workers in workplace communication.
  • Participants engage in one-on-one language partner sessions with adult learners, helping them develop practical spoken English skills.
  • The program is online and asynchronous, requiring a 15-hour commitment over a 10-week cycle.
  • Participants earn a Digital Credential/Badge to add to their LinkedIn profile.

Who Should Enroll?

This course is designed for those who have basic Spanish language skills and are passionate about supporting non-native English speakers in their communities.

Course Format & Time Commitment

  • Online, asynchronous
  • 15 hours total (8 one-hour sessions + 30 minutes prep per session)
  • End-of-experience reflection

  • Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 7-8 PM

Practice Partner Sessions (Must Attend 8 Sessions)

  • Monday & Tuesday, April 7 - June 3, 2025 (7-8 PM)
