English Together is a small organization with a big vision! We wish to see communities changed across the globe through English.
English! It is the most widespread language in the world. It is spoken by more people now than any other language. The primary language of the Internet is English. The language of international media is English. More books are available in English than any other language. It is fast becoming the language of choice for international Higher Education. Five times more people are learning English in China, than there are people in England! Demand for English is high, and growing! There is, however, a shortage of trained English teachers, especially in the harder to reach places, the second tier urban centers across the developing and emerging world. English Together hopes to establish language training centers that help to plug that gap.
English Together training centers will be professionally run by teams of local teachers and native speakers of English. The centers will be more than just a place to learn English. They will be community hubs where people can come, relax, make friends and grow together!
